I’m lucky to have completed my training as an Independent Celebrant through the International College of Professional Celebrants. This college, set deep within the Yorkshire Dales, was an inspiring period of creative freedom that helped to culminate everything that brings me joy; working with wonderful people, telling their stories and celebrating occasions.
I live in the beautiful coastal town of Scarborough surrounded by imposing scenes of nature, both coast and country, making for stunning back drops for significant occasions.
While I use my home as a base to pen my ceremonies to paper, I travel County and Country wide to deliver evocative ceremonies that leave lasting memories. I can be found hurtling down the M62, glamping overnight on location, travelling by rain, road or boat, and (if it’s not a coffee) nearly always with a pen and notebook in hand capturing all the important details.
I am a Mother of two striking children, driven by the desire to create wonderfully fulfilling lives for them and the families I work with. I enjoy fitness, being outdoors and any excuse to celebrate. I am known for my ability to articulate a feeling that is difficult to describe and pride myself in my ability to engage a crowd and make everyone feel present and included.

My Approach
It all begins with an occasion, prompting a need for ceremony.
From your initial enquiry, I will send you a questionnaire to begin getting to know you from our earliest communications. I will use this information to bring ideas and vision with me to our first meeting, where I will take care and time to actively listen to your specific requests.
I will take your information away with me, to begin carefully articulating words that capture the essence of what you want to say, feel and evoke in your gathering of loved ones.
The way you tell your story matters. The ceremony in your occasion should not be the section people clock watch until the party, it should be THE moment of your day, remembered for its distinctively individual and family reflective style.
